Privacy Policy

aertonic ("aertonic", "we", "us") builds a sales platform for B2B sales teams. aertonic is at an early stage and is not yet an incorporated company. Until it is, aertonic is operated by its founder, Youssef Elbatal, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, who is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. When a company is registered, we will update this policy with its legal name and address.

This policy covers aertonic.com (the "Site") and the public product demo shown on it.

When you book a call. The calendar on the Site is provided by Cal.com. When you book, you give your name, email address and anything you choose to add to the booking (for example your company or what you want to discuss). Cal.com processes this on our behalf and sends it to us.

When you contact us. If you email us or message us on LinkedIn, we receive your name, contact details and the content of your message.

Analytics, only if you accept. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information about your visit: pages viewed, time on page, referring site, approximate location derived from your IP address (IP addresses are anonymised), device, browser and operating system. If you decline, or send a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics is not loaded.

Technical logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard server logs, such as IP address, date and time, requested page and browser type, to deliver the Site and keep it secure.

The product demo. The demo runs on sample data only. The people and companies in it are fictional. Nothing you type into the demo is saved, searched or sent, and the demo does not ask for any personal information. It may store simple preferences (such as light or dark theme) in your browser's local storage, which stays on your device.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we do not ask for it.

• To arrange and hold the calls you book, and to follow up on them. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
• To reply to messages you send us. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• To understand how the Site is used and improve it. Legal basis: your consent (analytics cookies).
• To keep the Site and our systems secure and prevent abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interests and legal obligations.
• To comply with the law and respond to lawful requests. Legal basis: legal obligation.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Site, under contract:

• Vercel Inc. (hosting and delivery of the Site and the demo)
• Cal.com, Inc. (scheduling calls)
• Google LLC (Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies)
• Google Workspace (email)

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, investment or sale of the business, in which case the recipient must protect it at least as well as this policy does.

We are based in the United Arab Emirates and our service providers are mainly in the United States and the European Union, so your information may be processed outside your country. Where the law requires it (for example for transfers out of the EU, UK or UAE), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or the provider's adequacy mechanism (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

• Booking and correspondence records: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we start working together.
• Analytics data: 14 months in Google Analytics.
• Server logs: as set by Vercel, typically no longer than 30 days.

We may keep information longer where the law requires it, or to resolve disputes. After that, we delete or anonymise it.

We ask before setting any non-essential cookie. You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer.

• aertonic-cookie-consent (local storage, essential): remembers your cookie choice. Kept until you clear it.
• _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics, only with consent): distinguish visits. Expire after up to 2 years.
• Cal.com: the booking calendar is embedded from Cal.com and may set its own essential cookies inside the calendar to work. See Cal.com's privacy policy.

We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a refusal of analytics cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

The Site is served only over HTTPS. We limit access to personal information to people who need it and use reputable providers with strong security. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
• correct it if it is wrong or incomplete;
• have it deleted;
• restrict or object to how we use it, including objecting to processing based on legitimate interests;
• receive it in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what was done before;
• not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

These rights come from laws including the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. To exercise them, email youssef@aertonic.com. We will reply within one month (45 days for California requests), and may need to verify your identity first. You may use an authorised agent where the law allows.

You can also complain to your data protection authority, for example the UAE Data Office, the UK Information Commissioner's Office, or the supervisory authority in your EU country. We would appreciate the chance to help first.

The Site is for business users and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email youssef@aertonic.com and we will delete it.

This policy covers the Site and the public demo. If your organisation uses the aertonic platform, the personal information processed in it is governed by our agreement with your organisation, including any data processing terms.

The Site links to and embeds services run by others, such as LinkedIn and Cal.com. Their own privacy policies apply to them.

We will update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the Site.
